A 52-year-old woman asked her family physician (FP) to take a look at a new growth on her left lower eyelid. She’d had a lot of sun exposure in the past, and had previously received treatment for 2 basal cell carcinomas. The present growth was a smooth 4-mm mass on the lower eyelid with overlying telangiectasias. On palpation, the mass felt soft.
